Born 15 Dec 1840, Dekalb, NY. Died 10 Nov 1915, Montpelier; buried Green Mount Cemetery, Montpelier. Captain, Co. F, 2nd Vermont Infantry, credited to Hermon, NY. At Spotsylvania, VA, on 12 May 1864, he was credited with "distinguished conduct in a desperate hand-to-hand fight while commanding the regiment." Medal of Honor issued 30 Jul 1892. HARRINGTON, Ephraim W. (1833-1914)
Born 16 Jan 1833, Waterford, MA. Died 10 Dec 1914; buried Grove Cemetery, East St. Johnsbury. Sergeant, Co. G, 2nd Vermont Infantry, credited to Kirby. At Fredericksburg, VA, on 3 May 1863, he "carried the colors to the top of the heights and almost to the muzzle of the enemy's guns." Medal of Honor issued 13 Dec 1893. NARA File: C-675-V5-1865)

Born 23 Apr 1846, Montpelier. Died 1 Jul 1910; buried Cutler Cemetery, East Montpelier. Private, Co. F, 2nd Vermont Infantry, credited to Montpelier. At Spotsylvania, VA, on 12 May 1864, "Standing upon the top of the breastworks, [he] deliberately took aim and fired no less than 15 shots into the enemy's lines, but a few yards away." ROBBINS, Augustus J. Robbins (1839-1909)

At Spotsylvania, VA, on 12 May 1864, "While voluntarily serving as a staff officer successfully withdrew a regiment across and around a severely exposed position to the rest of the command; was severely wounded." TRACY, Amasa Sawyer (1829-1908)
