Norm  All  Jacob and I went to Stanton.  See 8 mills

etc etc etc.   watched all night Long Jacob and I.  



July 3, 1867 - Wednesday

cook watched the Mill all night Long etc etc etc.



July 4, 1867 - Thursday

we all Staid here all day but Sile he went to Stanton

to a ball.  watched the Mill half a night Cook 1/2.



July 5, 1867 - Friday

Settled with J. W. Winsor in the foornoon.  rainy in

the afternoon.  staid all night.   



July 6, 1867 - Saturday --------

Sile Wilkins, 29 years old today (**be)

Started for Ionia 3 oclock.  got to Reives Junction 7

oc.  got to Harrisons 9 oc.  had dinner at Owossa.



July 7, 1867 - Sunday

very pleasant.  Jacob  All and Edd went and got the

trunks.  Called to Delias.  Nellie and Mr Legget in

the eve.  Norm Nellie and I, Jacob and Albert went

over to Kins.  Staid to Jacob all night.



July 8, 1867 - Monday

Harrison went to Jackson.  Mr. Wilcox went to

Springfort.  I Mowed around Stumps in the foornoon.

drawed hay in PM.



July 9, 1867 - Tuesday

tumbled up hay in AM.  drawed hay in PM with the

coaltes with Mr Wilcox. went down to Nellies.



July 10, 1867 - Wednesday

drawed hay all day with the coalts.  13 Loads etc.

went over to Delias and down to Nellies in AM.  Cloudy

in PM.   Mowed around stumps and some with the

Machene.

Mowed around Stumps in AM.  in PM drawed and tumbled

Hay.  Daniel P went to Jackson.  Cloudy day.



July 14, 1867 - Sunday

quite Pleasant. Staid to Hares in AM etc.  rote

Letters  Isic and Kin.  Came over in PM.  went down to

Lewes and Nellies.

Norman quite Sick.  drawed Hay in AM.  in PM did not

work.  went down to Se Norm.  All went to Arland.

did not work in AM.  drawed hay in PM with the coalts

All and I.  Hare mowed for Wood.

I Tumbled hay in AM.  Hare Mowed for Wood.  Jacob and

Albert drawed etc etc etc.  I and Hare drawed in PM.



July 18, 1867 - Thursday

drawed hay till 10 oclock.  went to town.  got my

watch.  let William Johnson take it to sell.



July 19,1867 - Friday

begone Harvesting.  worked in boath lots Some etc.

worked all day Harvesting.  went down and Stayed with

Norm all night.



July 21, 1867 - Sunday

Norm and I went to Lewes in AM.  in PM Came up to

Daniel P.   Jacob and I went over to Arland.  went in

swimming.



July 22, 1867 - Monday

worked all day on the first Lot Harvesting.  very

warm.  (Warm)



July 23, 1867 - Tuesday

worked in AM on the first Lot.  in PM worked on the

other Lot.  awful Warm.



July 24, 1867 - Wednesday

worked beyond the Clinton road all day.  very Warm.



July 25, 1867 - Thursday -------- Nellie Foote, 29

rainy most all day.  Jacob and All went Berrying.  did

not work harvesting much.  helpt Hare fix the barn in

PM.  



July 26, 1867 - Friday

Lowry in the Morning.  went over to the Lot about 10

oclock.  worked all day.  went to Arland and the

Junction in the eve.  



July 27, 1867 - Saturday -------- Father, 48 (**be)

worked For Albert Foote all day harvesting.  Eight of

us Cut 14 acres.



July 28, 1867 - Sunday

Ed Hare Jacob All D.P. Wallie and I went down to the

river Swimming.  had a very hard Shower.  got wet

through.



July 29, 1867 - Monday

went over to Berts in AM.  helpt unload 2 loads of

Wheat for Jacob.  All and I looked over Some blue

Berrys.  in PM went down to Nellies etc etc etc. 

Staid to Supper.



July 30, 1867 - Tuesday

drawed Wheat with 3 teams for Harrison all day.  18

Loads in all day.



July 31, 1867 - Wednesday

unloaded 3 loads of Wheat.  Sleep most of the

foornoon.  Went to Jackson in the afternoon.

August 1, 1867 - Thursday

went over to Berts in AM.  All was over thare.  played

Back gamon.  went down to Nellies in PM.   Nellie went

down to Hattie Halls.  I helpt Norm Cock up Hay. 

Staid all night. 



August 2, 1867 - Friday

helpt Norm draw Hay all day.  9 Loads and raked 6 of

them up.  Came up to Daniel P. 



August 3, 1867 - Saturday

helpt Hare thrash Wheat all day.  had 343 bush.  very

Clean Work I  had.  



August 4, 1867 - Sunday

Hare  Jacob  Norm  All Wallie  Bill Johny and I went

down and went in Swimming.

Came up to Daniel P. in AM.  in PM help Albert rake

and tumble hay for Mr Foote.  rained.

helpt A Foote thrash.

helpt A. Foote  thrash in AM.  they had in all $190

bushell.  Ed  Jacob  All  Wallie and I went in

Swimming.  got 2 letters.  All got 2 letters.  Staid

All and Hare drawed hay with the old Horses.  Jacob

and Norm drawed with the Coalts.  I raked after.

Norm  Albert  Harrison and I went to Jackson.  Came

home the plank road.

Jacob and Mother Arlinda and I went to Meetting up

East.  after Meetting went and road around by the

helpt Harrison thrash his oats 126 bushels in all. 

washed up the waggon etc etc etc.



August 27, 1867 - Tuesday

Norm  Nellie  Jacob  Adell  Albert  Arlinda I  and

Maryan went to Jackson.  went through the prison and

fair ground and semitry (*cemetery).  got home 10

oclock in the raine.  



August 28, 1867 - Wednesday

Mr Wilcox went to Leslie.  Staid here all day.  went

down to Nellie in the eve all of us.  had a good time

etc etc etc.  



August 29, 1867 - Thursday

all of us went over to Kin's.  spent the afternoon and

we got home about 10 oc.  had a frost.



August 30, 1867 - Friday

helpt Jacob rake up Some Clover sead in AM.  in PM

Staid here.  had a good Sleep etc etc.



August 31, 1867 - Saturday

rainy in AM.. Staid to Daniel P in PM.   went to

Leslie.  had a good time.  good home 10 oclock  had a

roast Pig.

Norm  Jacob  Albert and I went to town.  had Some

Photographs taken all together. (**note: I wish I

rainy in AM.  in PM  went to Leslie to a dance.  had a

good time.  good music. 



September 4, 1867 - Wednesday

got home from Leslie 6 oclock AM.  went to bed Sleep

till 12.  Cut Corn a while and helpt Late thrash 102

bushel of Wheat 101 or oats.  



September 5, 1867 - Thursday

Cut and bound up Corn in AM.  in PM went down to Mr

Woods to a raiseing.  went to Delia in the Eve all of

us.  had a good time.  (pared apples.)

Cut and bound Corn all day etc etc etc.  went over to

Edds.  played Checkers in the Evening. 



September 7, 1867 - Saturday

Mr Wilcox went to Jackson with a load of wheat.  I

went with him.  the Coalts run a way with Harrison in

the Lower lot. 



September 8, 1867 - Sunday

Jacob  Maryan  Albert  and  Arlinda went to Spring

Arber.  got home 12 oclock.  Adell and I went over to

Delias in the Eve.  Staid to Daniel P. all day.

we all begon to Cut Corn.  went and Looked at Cap

Drakes Farm.  rainy Some.  Mrs Billings Came from

Shalot.  had some peaches.

Jackson.  went to Delia's to a paireing be in the

Rainy.  Norm  Albert and Jake went to Jackson.  bought

a farm of Cap Drake.  I rote a letter.  played Back

drawed Corn and pumpkins.  ploughed some.  dug a few

potatoes.  Wilcox went to Jackson.  wheat 238 per bush

Corn.  Hare went to Leslie.

the boys all Came up.  Norm Cut my Hare.  All rote

husked Corn in AM.  in PM rained.  husked some in the

went down home with Jake.  then Albert and I Came up

to Mr Footes and caled and then up to Carries to

Supper.  Jake and I went over to Mr Trues.  Arlinda

came home with us.

went to town with a load of wood for Hare.  got $5.50

cts.



November 5, 1867 - Tuesday

helpt Hare draw Corn and Stalks till 3 oclock.  then

went down to Nellies. Spent the Eve.

Hare and Mary fetched me over to Mr Trues.  went to

Meeting in the evening.

begone Work for Mr True at $20 per month.  drawed 2

loads of Hay in AM.  went to Jackson with Wood.  got a

pair of Boots.

went to Jackson with wood.  the thrashers Came here.  



November 13, 1867 - Wednesday

thrashed Clover Cede all day etc etc   Frank



November 14, 1867 - Thursday 

gethered Turnips and drawed 2 loads of Corn and drawed

out 2 loads of wood.



November 15, 1867 - Friday

went to Jackson with wood.  Sent Some apples to uncle

November 16, 1867 - Saturday

drawed out 4 loads of wood.  went to Jackson in PM. 

Will went home.  



November 17, 1867 - Sunday

went to Bible Class Meetting.  Mr Wilcox and Wife Came

over.  Will got back 1 oclock.

went to the Cider mill with 2 loads of apples. Ground

Loged in AM in the upper Lot.  in PM went to the mill

with 1 load of app.  Ground them out.  Came home.  



November 21, 1867 - Thursday

N. fetched me a letter.  went down and finished

makeing cider.  made 8 Bls.  got home about 4 oclock.

went to Jackson with Wood etc etc



November 23, 1867 - Saturday

went up and got a load of sand in Am.  then went to

Jackson with wood.  had a Soar throat.

throat very soar.  Staid here all day.  Mrs Billings

took Care of me.  



November 25, 1867 - Monday

not quite so well as I was yesterday.  Dr Reynolds

Came to see me about 4 PM.  left Medison etc etc.

very damp day.  I feal about as I did yesterday.  Dr

Came about 4 oclock.  thought me not any worse.



November 27, 1867 - Wednesday

very dull day.  my throat a little better today but

very week.  



November 28, 1867 - Thursday -------- Thanksgiving

today.

Clouddy day.  Some better to day but very week. 

Albert Came over in the eve.  had a good time etc etc.

had a stuffed Chicken for supper.

Mr Leggetts in the eve.  went and stayed with All all

night.

Came up to Clarinda.  Stoped to diner.  Came over to

Carries.  Stoped a little while.  went over to Hares. 

done the Choars.  Came over to Carries.  Stayed all

night.

Came over to Hares about 10 oclock.  Staid to diner. 

Came by Arlinda school.  got home 5 oc.



December 4, 1867 - Wednesday -------- A. A. Boardman,

me home.

worked in AM.   in PM went to Turky Shoot.  All and

Jake Came over.

went to town.  Mr True went up.  got the oysters etc. 





December 25, 1867 - Wednesday

went to Jackson with wood.   got back half past 2

oclock.   went over to Norms and then back here to a

dance.  



December 26, 1867 - Thursday

went over to Carries.  Staid all day.  Staid to hares

all night.



December 27, 1867 - Friday

went to the Boys in the morn  then to Turkey Shoot. 

Stayed to Kins all night.



December 28, 1867 - Saturday

went to the Center and down home with Albert and up to

Hares to Supper.  to Nellies in the eve. Stayed with

All.     



December 29, 1867 - Sunday

Came up to Lewes and Nellies and Carries.  Albert and

I .  All went home.  I Stayed to Hares.



December 30, 1867 - Monday

helpt hare butcher 4 hoggs.  Mr True Came over here. 

went down to Lewes in the evening Carrie and I.  



December 31, 1867 - Tuesday

went to Rives to a Law Sute and to Mr Trues.  Hare

went to Jackson with hogs.  Staid to Hares.
