Obituary

Orleans County.

Dawson Burt, an unmarried man some 29 years old, who had served six years in the rebellion and five years in the regular army, and has been stopping with his father, Russel Burt, at West Derby, committed suicide last week Thursday, by shooting himself through the heart.Though he has had periods of melancholy recently, he had given no intimation that he contemplated suicide.
