James Butterfly
Rutland Daily Herald, July 26, 1904:
James F. Butterfly died at his home west of the city on the Kelley road early yesterday morning, death being attributed to dropsy. Mr. Butterfly was 63 years of age and a civil war veteran. He is survived by three sons, James Butterfly of Boston, Benjamin Butterfly of Lowell, Mass., and Archie Butterfly of this city, and three daughters, Mrs. Winnie Good and Miss Bertha Butterfly of Middletown, Ct., and Mrs. A. Shortsleeves of this city. The funeral will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
