Obituary

Burial in Charge of Masons

The body of Harlan W. Chandler of North Springfield was brought here for burial yesterday afternoon. Short services were held at the Baptist church, Rev. R. M. Jones officiating, after which Olive Branch lodger, F. And A. M., of which Mr, Chandler was a member, took charge of the body according to the ritual of the order. Rev. Henry L. Ballou, past grand master of the grand lodge, conducting the burial services. Mr. Chandler was a member of the Baptist church, and he served in the Civil war in company F, 11th Vermont Infantry. For many years he resided in this town on a farm.
