Gilead Cemetery, Bethel, VT

Check the cemetery for location/directions and other veterans who may be buried there.

Horace Cole, an aged man, who has been boarding here for several months, passed away Sunday, and his funeral was held at Gilead this afternoon. Mr. Cole formerly lived in Rochester, where Mrs. Cole died several years ago, and since his home has been broken up, he has been in town much of the time. He is survived by several children, one of whom, Mrs. Warner, lives on Fish hill. Mr. Cole was a Civil war veteran, and has been in feeble health for a long time, although able to be about and on the street up to within a short time.
