ISAAC CLIFFORD enlisted from the town of Calais on the 19th day of August, 1862, and joined Company H, and was made wagoner. His age at this date was 38, and on account of age and other suitable qualification fulfilled the laborious and often dangerous and exposed position with credit. Was mustered out with his regiment July 21st, 1863.

We learn that Isaac W. Clifford, once a resident of this town, died in Ayer's Flat, P. Q., recently. He was a member of Co. B. 15th Vt. Vols.
