DEATHS In Wilmington, April 29, Leonard N. Cummings, aged 30 years 1 month and 14 days. He was a member of the 4th Reg't Vt. Vols., and died of disease contracted while in prison.
And should I grieve now thou art blest,
And with thee back on earth again;
Or sigh that thou dost sweetly rest,
While I in this sad world remain?Source: Vermont Record, May 25, 1867.
