Obituary

NORTH BERKSHIRE

Mrs. Ervin Gross, who recently returned home from caring for her father, Austin Davis, of West Jay, has received news of his death. Death occurred at his late home in West Jay February 14. He was 88 years of age, and a veteran of the Civil War. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Herbert Barup of Montgomery, Mrs. Ethel Durkee of East Richford, Mrs. William Graham of Montpelier, Mrs. Henry Morse of West Jay, with whom he lived, and Mrs. Ervin Gross of North Berkshire, and a son, Burton Davis of Johnson. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church of East Richford this afternoon at one o’clock, the Rev. J. H. Blackburn officiating.
