Obituary

Milton H. Davis, 61 years old, a native of Bradford, died Sunday morning in his home in Greenfield. He was a soldier in the Civil war and a private in Co. D, 8th Vt. Reg. For 20 years he made his home in Northfield, later in Canaan, N.H., and went to Greenfield about two years ago. The body was taken to Bradford where the burial was held last Tuesday. Death was due to pneumonia after an illness lasting but a few days. He leaves a wife.
