Died July 1st, on board the Hospital boat from New Orleans to New York, Francis G. Fassett, a member of Co. C, 7th Vt. Veteran Volunteers, aged 21 years, 11 months, and 1 day.

He rests beneath the dark waters of the Atlantic. By this bereavement his parents have been deprived of their last remaining child.
