Death of Francis Germain

Francis Germain of Fairfax, died a the St. Albans hospital this morning at 4:10 o'clock at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife, by six daughters, Mrs. Eliza Trombley, of Burlington, Mrs. James Ellis, of Portland, Me., Miss Alma, of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Leo Barkyoumb, of St. Albans Bay, and the Misses Clara and Laura, of Fairfax; five sons, Frank, of Holyoke, Mass., Leon, of Lawrence, Mass., George of Andover, Mass., and Wilfred and Arthur, of Fairfax.

The deceased was a member of the local post of the Grand ARMY OF THE Republic, and the post will attend the funeral, which is to take place at Holy Angels church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. The Rev. L. Desrochers will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery. The body was taken from the hospital to the funeral chapel of R. E. Mecorney where it will lie until the time of the funeral.

Funeral of Francis Germain

The funeral of Francis Germain, who died at the St. Albans hospital Thursday morning, took place at Holy Angels church last Friday at 9 o'clock, the Rev. L. Desrochers officiating. The bearers were four sons: Wilfred and Arthur, of Fairfax, Fran of Holyoke, Mass., and Leon, of Lawrence, Mass. Interment took place at Holy Cross cemetery. The members of the local Grand Army of the Republic post attended the funeral in a body.
