Word has been received here of the death of Benjamin Dutton, which occurred at the home of his eldest daughter, Louisa Rusk, on Saturday, December 13th. Mr. Dutton's death was caused by a shock resulting from a fall received a few days previous when he suffered a broken hip. He was ninety years of age on August 11, and had been in the East for the past three days. He came to Burlingame on the early eighties and was actively engaged n the business and religious interests of the town. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. H. D. Shepard, of Topeka, and Mrs. S. N. Hills, of Portland, and a brother Henry, of this city. Also a daughter, Charlotte, of Chicago, and son, Loren, of Emporia. Burial was made this week at his birthplace, Hartford, Vermont.
