Relatives have learned of the death yesterday in Gaysville of Sherman C. Harrington after a week's illness with slow paralysis. He was 79 years old, a native of Stockbridge and a member of the 11th Vermont regiment during the Civil war. The late Edwin Harrington of Bethel was a brother. His wife died five years ago. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 o'clock.
