Obituary

HARTLAND

Oscar F. Hemenway, a much respected citizen and veteran of the Civil War, passed away Monday, May 18, after several years of suffering with a cancer in the eyeball. He leaves a widow, two sons, Charles of this town and Irving, the well known cornestist of Boston, a daughter, Mrs. Lyman F. Cabot of Windsor, and two grandchildren, Irving and Jerold Cabot. The funeral was held in the Universalist church Thursday, Rev. C. E. Petty officiating. Interment in the village cemetery.
