Nash Hibbard

St. Albans Daily Messenger; March 14, 1918
Nash Hibbard, aged 79 years, a Civil War veteran and native of Bethel, is dead. He belonged to Co. H, 3d Vermont infantry. He enlisted from bethel and passed most of his life there. He died at Harry Turner's in East Bethel, where he had boarded a short time.

On March 7th Nash Hibbard, a Civil war veteran, passed away in East Bethel, where he had made his home for many years. He was 79 years old. He enlisted from Bethel, and served in Company H of the 3d Vermont Infantry. His father, Zebulon Hibbard, and mother, Eliza Dean, were prominent in East Bethel half a century ago. Mr. Hibbard leaves no near surviving relatives. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Cady undertaking rooms, Rev. J.W. Miller officiating. Interment was at Fairview cemetery.
