Obituary
Horace P. Emerson
Death took Horace P. Emerson, one of the three remaining Civil War veterans Tuesday. He was 91 years old March 7, and had been well for a man of those years, and one who had given four years of his life to the Union in the Civil War, having enlisted as a boy from East Corinth and as long as health permitted been active in affairs of the G.A.R. He came to Lyndonville 47 years ago continue his work for the railroad which he served 40 years.
The funeral will be conducted by the Masons from the Congregational church Friday at 2:30 P.M.
