Michael Hurley

The Vermont Journal, February 21, 1891

The 15th death at the Vermont Soldiers’ Home at Bennington occurred on Sunday, Feb. 15, when Michael Hurley of Bennington breathed his last at the age of 54 years. He was a member of Co. A, 8th Vt. Regiment, having enlisted Dec. 26, 1863, and had been at the home since last March. Death followed from consumption, from which he had suffered for a long time.
