Items of Personal Mention -- Death of William Jacobs

William Jacobs, a veteran of the Civil War aged 78 years, died at this home on Pleasant street Thuresday evening after a two weeks' illness of creeping paralysis. He is survived by a widow; one son, George A.; a daughter, Miss Ella Jacobs; and a brother L. R. Jacobs of this village. The funeral will be heldl Sunday at two o'clock. The Rev. J.J.Fowler, paster of the First Baptist Church, wil officiate.
