Obituary

Norman L. Jefts, late of Company K, 8th Vt. Regt., aged 69 years, died at the soldiers' Home, Bennington, November 11. Enlisted December 1863 and served until the regiment was mustered out of service. He came to the Home October 18, 1897, sick with consumption. He was sent to the hospital and cared for until his death. Burial in Home cemetery.
