Horace P. Jennings died at his home on Pleasant street Tuesday night. He had been in poor health and unable to work for two years past. Comrade Jennings was a veteran of the civil war, a member of Co. G, 14 Vermont regiment, also a member of W. C. Dunton Post, G.A.R. His was the third death in the family since Feb. 18. His wife and a favorite granddaughter. He leaves two sons., H. S. and J. S. Jennings and several grandchildren. He was a shoemaker by trade, and respected by all. His funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
