Obituary

Eber Johnson

Eber Johnson, a veteran of the civil war, died yesterday afternoon at his home on Hyde street after a long illness, aged 76 years. Mr. Johnson enlisted at Bolton august 26, 1863. He was discharged July 7, 1863, because of wounds, which resulted in the loss of an arm, while serving in Company K of the Fifth Vermont. Several children survive.
