Obituary
Robert Burns Lillie died yesterday at the home of his son, Dean K. Lillie, of old age. He was born in Bethel 72 years ago and 45 years ago married Miss Josephine Kellogg. Mr. Lillie was a painter by trade and about ten years ago moved to Montpelier. He was a veteran of the Civil war, serving four years in company E, 4th Vermont infantry and in the 2d Pennsylvania heavy artillery. A son and daughter survive, Dan K. Lillie and Mrs. J.B. Paddleford of this city. The funeral will beheld from the home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
