Michael Manning

NEWS & CITIZEN: JAN. 25, 1919


Michael Manning, for the past fifteen years a resident of Cadys Falls, died at his home there Tuesday of last week, after a long period of ill health.

The funeral was held from St. Theresa's Church in Hyde Park last Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Rev. Fr. Boivin officiating. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery. The deceased was born in Ireland 78 years ago, but had lived his whole life, since he was eight years of age in Hyde Park, and this town. He was married in 1866 to Ellen Dougherty, who survives him. Of several children born to them, two survive. They are Eddie Manning, of Hyde Park, and Henry Manning, of Saranac Lake N.Y,

He was a veteran of the Civil War.
