Remarks: The Certificate of Death indicates that Henry Marcotte died March 29, 1912, and was buried at Saint John's Cemetery in Lancaster, MA on March 31, 1912. The informant on the Death Certificate is listed as "Clinton Almshouse". The cemetery has no record of his burial, although they do have a number of single graves that are listed as "unknown". Although it appears that we will not be able to determine the specific burial location of this soldier within the cemetery and have posted a general photo taken at St. John's Cemetery, we will continue to investigate.
