Obituary
CORINTH
John Mattoon, formerly a resident of this place, committed suicide at the American House in Chelsea, last Sunday. Mr. Mattoon was a member of the 4th Vermont Regt., was badly wounded, and it is supposed became despondent, as he had been in poor health for some years.
