Horace Messinger

Springfield, Vermont

Horace Messinger, aged 71, a veteran of the civil war, Co. E, 16th Vt. Reg., died, Monday of last week, of general paresis, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Richmond on Prospect street. Jarvis Post, G.A.R., acted as escort at the funeral, which was held Friday.
