Funeral of Benjamin Monta

COLCHESTER, Oct. 13. - The funeral services for the late Benjamin Monta were held at his late residence at Champlain Friday, October 8 at two o'clock with a large attendance of friends and all the family. Excepting his two daughters who live in California. The Rev. D. G. Dennocker pastor of the United Church officiated. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Mr. Monta was 82 years old last August and lived an upright and industrious life. He was a veteran of the Civil war and was a robust man. He will be greatly missed. His widow will make her home with her son, Harley Monta, who lives on the state road between Colchester Center and Winooski.
