DEATH AT THE SOLDIERS' HOME

Bennington, Vt., Sept. 25. - James Morgan, aged 56 years, late Co. K, 2d Vt. Regiment, died of consumption at the Vermont Soldiers' Home September 24, 1899. He enlisted August 14, 1861; mustered out January 25, 1865, for wounds received May 5, 1864; first admitted to the Home from Addison, Vt., December 13, 1893; buried in the Home cemetery.
