Civil War Veteran Dies At Waterbury

Waterbury, June 20. James W. Newton, a Civil War veteran, age 87, died yesterday morning at the Lease Home. His only survivors are two nephews of Massachusetts. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the chapel of the Congregational church.
