Lemuel Page, a native of Essex and a veteran of the Civil war, died Tuesday in Westboro, Mass., at the age of 86 years. When the war broke out he enlisted in Co. I, 12th Vermont volunteers. He saw service for four years in nearly all the important battles and escaped without an injury. He leaves three children, Lemuel B. Page of Randolph Center, Eugene H. Page of Essex and Archie Page of Waterbury.
