Obituary

SHERIFF PECK DIES.

White River Junction, June 13. - Former Sheriff Henry H. Peck, aged 71, died yesterday morning of a complication of diseases, following a shock he had while walking on Main street March 20. He was a Civil War veteran having enlisted in Hartford at the age of 17. He conducted a furniture business in Hartford village at one time and was sheriff for 35 years.
