Two of the town's oldest and most highly esteemed citizens were laid to rest the past week. Mr. William Perley, whose sturdy form and rugged constitution had enabled him to buffet the chill of eighty-seven winters, on the morning of November 25, quietly ended his earthly pilgrimage. The funeral service was attended on Friday, Rev. C. L. Guild officiating.
