Obituary

Veteran Dies in County Jail.

William H. Petrie, aged 67 years, and a Civil war vetreran, died Wednesday at the county jail of Rutland of heart trouble. He was serving a 30-day sentence for a third offense of intoxication. Petrie is a native of Woodstock. His only surviving relative is a sister in Massachusetts.
