Obituary

A Veteran Suicides

BENNINGTON, Vt., Nov. 7. - Frank Plant, about 53 years of age, a member of Stannard post, G.A.R., late of Co. D, 3rd Vt. Regt., committed suicide by hanging himself with a strap in the stable of the Soldiers' home last night. He was receiving temporary aid at the home, having formerly been cared for from November, 1887 to January, 1890.
