Obituary
William A. Griswold.
News has been received of the sudden death Thursday at Washington of William Albert Griswold, a brother of Miss Carrie M. Griswold of this city and the oldest son of the late William F. Griswold of Burlington. Mr. Griswold, who had been ill with bronchitis for three weeks, had been in the government printing office continuously for 44 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War, serving in Co. D, 10th Vermont. He was born in this city but had not lived here for about 45 years, and his sister, Miss Carrie Griswold, is the last of the family. Mr. Griswold's wife died about two years ago. The funeral and interment took place in Washington.
