The funeral of Alonzo Priest was held in the Congregational church last Friday forenoon, Rev. M. W. Hale officiating. Mr. Priest was one of the oldest residents in town, being 77 years of age. He served very faithfully in the CivilWar. He leaves eight sons and six daughters to mourn his loss.
