Obituary
GEORGE REYNOLDS DIES AT HARTFORD
Hartford, Feb. 22. - George Reynolds, 87, Hartford's last Civil war veteran, died Saturday afternoon at his home of heart failure, following a short illness with influenza.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Sharon, May 27, 1844. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Davis Reynolds; a son, Melvin Reynolds of Hartford; a brother, Charles Reynolds of Hanover, N. H., and nephew, George Reynolds of Burlington.
Mr. Reynolds served three years during the Civil war in the 4th Vermont regiment. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home.
