Obituary

HINSDALE, N.H.

The funeral of Dennis Richards was held at the house Friday afternoon and the burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Richards had been ill some time as the result of a shock. He was of French nationality, a laborer by occupation and had lived in Putney many years. He leaves a widow and six children, Stanley, Edmund, Alice, Delia, Annie and Lucy. Mr. Richards was a member and officer in Col. W. H. Greenwood post, G.A.R. He enlisted in company B. 16th Vermont Volunteers, Aug. 10, 1863.
