Abel Shedd passed away last week aged 82 years. He was a veteran of the Civil war and his health had been poor for some years owing to the hardships experienced in the army. He had lived in this town and Lowell for a long term of years, and will be remembered as a kind husband and father and a good neighbor. He leaves a wife, two daughters and two sons to mourn his loss.
