Charles Sidney

Charles Sidney died very suddenly at his home west of this village Monday afternoon, March 13, aged about 75 years. He was a veteran of the Civil war, serving in a nine months' regiment, then re-enlisting in the eighth, and was discharged in 1865. He received a small pension. At one time he belonged to Chamberlain Post of St. Johnsbury. He leaves a widow and several children.
