Obituary

Woodstock Notes

Edwin H. Slayton, one of Woodstocks older residents died at his home on Lincoln street Friday morning. He leaves a widow and three sons; Horace, of Woodstock; Leslie J., of Malden, Mass., and Herbert E., of Allston, mass. Mr. Slayton was a Carpenter and contractor and had built many houses in Woodstock. He was 78 years of age and a veteran of the CivilWar. The funeral will be held at his late residence on Sunday at 3.30. Interment at South Woodstock.
