CURTIS A. HIBBARD DEAD
Burlington Retired Business Man Had Reached Age of 71 Years.
Burlington, Dec. 6. - Curtis A. Hibbard, a long time resident of Burlington, civil war veteran, Mason and former business man, died this morning at the age of 71 years. For many years he was a manufacturer and wholesale dealer in shoes in Troy, Essex Junction and this city. He was prominent and served a term as city representative. He was a member of Gov. Grout's staff in 1896, a member of the Loyal Legion, Washington Lodge, F. And A. M., and of the First Congregational church.
Mr. Hibbard was married twice. He is survived by his second wife, who was Miss Lillie Thompson, and a brother, G. L. Hibbard of Portland, Ore.
