Obituary

Funeral of Calvin Stebbins

Calvin Stebbins, a former insurance man of St. Johnsbury, died Friday at his home in Monroe, N.H., aged 71. The body was brought here for burial Monday. The service at Calderwood's undertaking rooms was conducted by his pastor, Rev. D. E. Burns of the Methodist church of Monroe, assisted by the Rev. C. B. Bliss, McIndoes. Mr. Stebbins is survived by his wife, a son, Guy Stebbins of Monroe, and a daughter, Mrs. Cree of Concord, N.H. The burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

Mr. Stebbins was a well-known Grand Army man.
