Daniel B. Stedman Died at Southern Pines, N.C.

Springfield, Oct. 8. - Word was received here today of the death of Daniel B. Stedman, formerly for 20 years editor and publisher at Brattleboro, Vt., of the Vermont Phoenix, which occurred at Southern Pines, N.C. He was 83 years old and was wounded at Gettysburg while serving with the 16th Vermont volunteers.
