Hugh H. Holbrook

Hugh H. Holbrook, 82, one of the oldest residents of Townsend, died Friday after a short illness. Mr. Holbrook had held many town offices, including, selectman, auditor, lister, school director and justice of the peace. He was a director of the Windham county Savings bank, served in the Civil War as a sergeant and was a member of the G.A.R. post in Townsend.
