Joseph J. Streeter

Joseph J. Streeter, about 75, died yesterday morning at his home in Readsboro, Vt. He was a former resident of Shelburne Falls, where he was well known and held in high esteem. He served in the Civil war, enlisting in Co. B, 8th Vermont volunteer infantry, and was a member of Ozro Miller Grand Army Post in Shelburne Falls. His widow and one daughter, Mrs. Lewis H. Merrill of Shelburne Falls survive.

The funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock at Readsboro, Vt., and the body will be taken to Shelburne Falls on the 6 o'clock train in the afternoon for burial in Arms Cemetery. Rev. H.L. Packard will read the committal service.
