CHARLES D. TOWLE born in Duxbury; enlisted from that town at the age of 18. He was a dark complexioned black eyed boy, 5 ft. 7 1/2 in. in height and solid built. He was a good soldier. He was mustered out with the regiment and died some years ago. See Roster.

Stowe Scribblings.

Charles Towle of Moscow, died last Thursday morning. The funeral was on Saturday, Rev. H. W. Worthenofficiating.
