Obituary

JERICHO CENTER.

George Tubbs, who had been ill only a few days, died at the home of H.H. Wilder Friday night at the age of 87 years. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon. The Rev. S.H. Barnum officiated. Burial was in Essex Center. Mrs. Tubbs died several years ago. Three daughters and one son survive. One daughter, Mrs. Jessie Atherton, of Westford, and Stillman Tubbs of Underhill were present at the funeral. Mr. Tubbs was a veteran of the Civil War.
