Merrick Wilkins died October 2 at his home after several weeks' illness with Bright's disease. He was 67 years old. The funeral was held at his late home Monday afternoon, Rev. George Gilbert of Dorset officiating. Burial was in North Rupert cemetery. He is survived by his wife and several brothers.
